US$700,000
worth of Illicit Hard Drugs Destroyed
Scores
of bails of the dangerous Cannabis Sativa drug that
were arrested by Police personnel along the Masiaka/Mile
91 Highway, heading for Guinea onboard a Military truck,
have been burnt down at the Police Regional Headquarter
town in Makeni in the presence of various stakeholders
including Members of Parliament, Paramount Chiefs, representatives
of the SLP, Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF)

UNICEF
Hands Over Vehicles to FSU
The
United Nations Children’s Educational Fund (UNICEF)
Representative Geert Cappelaere on Wednesday 20th February
2008 officially handed over three (3) Hilux vehicles
to the Family Support Unit of the Sierra Leone Police
at the Conference Hall, George Street, Police Headquarters.
According to him, the vehicles are to enhance the work
of the Family Support Unit in Family mediation, data
collection and monitoring...
